Engine Cooling problem
1994 BMW 325 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive 130000 miles

Can you give me some tips on replacing the fan on this car. Several of the blades have broken off.

Which fan are you asking about? The auxiliary fan or the heater blower fan?

Thank you for re-posting! The fan clutch will require a 36mm thin wrench and is a left hand thread. Often a few sharp whacks with a hammer will achieve the desired results, if it is stubborn it may require a holding tool to intercept the water pump bolts. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN IT WHEN REINSTALLING please, I might be the next guy to take it loose and I HATE IT when the damn thing was overtightened! It is a left hand thread so that when the engine is running, it tightens the nut.
