I have changed the mass air sensor, new plugs and new fuel filter. First time to crank in the mornings it fires right up then shuts off and will not crank unless you disconnect the mass air box for a few seconds. Replug the mass sensor and after it warms up runs and goes great. No smoking either. What the heck. Thanks. Shannon

First, let me thank all that helped me with answers about this problem. I did not have a reader for the BMW because it takes more than one style. But with the help of "'The Dr." He took me step by step to check many things that could have been tied to the problem. Come to find out.I over looked the conection at the thermostat housing and found a conection that had come loose just like he told me. I HIGHLY recommend these guys on this site and if I need help again will not hesitate to ask.
Again, THANK YOU ! If you ever make it to Myrtle Beach look me up ! Shannon Currie/Myrtle Beach SC
