i was driving along the road, and a coolant warning light came on and it seemed like I lost gear D, so I carried on gear 3, noticed there was smoke out the back so pulled over, noticed a burst hose under the car, the smoke was from the coolant fluid hitting the exahust, afetr a while of trying to troubleshhot, there was no gear s and car would not move in any gear

It seems there is more than one problem. First, get the cooling system secured, replace all the suspect hoses and refill the system, bleed the air out, and then check the transmission fluid level when running. Get that accomplished and we can continue.

Thanks, very much, I will try that in a few weeks when I get home from work, I am hopeing it is a case of connect the hose up, re-crimp it and fill up with new gear oil and see if that gets me going, even if it get me going to drive to the garage then thats fine.

Thanks very much

paul
