1985 BMW 325 starting

The car starts then stops running. Will start again and stops every time. Wont run but a few secounds.
What could it be?

If it wont stay running, then it is either no fuel or no spark. Spray some brake clean into the vacuum hose from the intake manifold to the fuel pressure regulator and see if it stays running. If it does run, it is not getting fuel. Take that step and let us know.
