Electrical problem
1998 BMW 318 4 cyl 110000 miles

Today while driving the needle indicators of the fuel, speedometer, rev counter & energy control & Engine coolant thermometer all went crazy. All the indicators are now pointing to zero, and the engine coolant needle seems to be broken & has fallen to the right side of the dial, passing the red. The car is still driving but no guages are working & a fan seems to be running in dashboard even when engine is switched off. Also the ABS & ASC/DSC warning lights came on a few days ago & remain on. Can guage problem be fuses, and if so how do I know what fuse controls which guage?

Yes it could be a fuse issue, are any of them blown? I do not have a fuse legend in front of me at this time, but there should be one in the owners manual providing you have one or in the lid of the fuse box.
