it is in very good condition but it has problems starting from a stop. once it gets over 30mph it does fine. it also makes some noise in reverse. does it need a new transmission? how much would it cost to repair.

Avoid forming an attachment to this car, if there are issues, keep looking. Cost to repair a tranny issue will be possibly as much as the purchase price.
