We think that the Multi rib belt might need replacing and was wondering if when we order a part that this is the correct name for it. Its the larger belt that goes around all the pullies not the small one for the air con. My husband put a little bit of pressure on the top belt pully while the motor was running and the noise did stop.

The belt is a multi-rib belt and the part# is 11-28-1-247-986. There is also a need for your hubby to inspect both the tensioner and the deflection pulleys as they are known sources of noise issues.
