1992 BMW 318 wont start

Hi please could you help me my car wont start I have all lights on dash bord electrics work fine battry is ok but when I turn the key nothing happens it dont turn over but I can push start it and its manual it starts most of the time but fails evry now and then please can u help me

No crank at all/nothing/nada:

Could be the starter, starter relay, clutch switch/park and neutral switch and ignition switch assuming the battery and connections are good.

I would most likely say the starter. I had a pick truck like that. It was a stick shift and I always pushed started it till I put a starter in

There is a possibility the steering lock might be involved.
