Blower motor module works for a while, but it stops?

My AC stops working. Compressor does not engage; I replace the module on blower motor. It works for a while, but it stops and I have to replace it again.

Hi,

Are you referring to the blower motor resistor? I that part keeps failing, make sure the electrical connections are in good condition and not arcing.

If they are good, there is a good chance the blower motor itself is drawing too much amperage and causing the resistor to fail.

Take a look at the pic below and let me know if that is what was replaced. They refer to it as the blower motor speed control unit.
