When I was driving down a thruway using my heat and I had noticed at some point that my heat had stopped working completely. It doesn’t blow on any speed or defrost and I do not have an A/C unit, but it would normally blow air if put on that setting but it also does not work. I checked the 40 amp fuse and it’s fine but I had replaced it anyways with a brand new one, I had purchased a new blower motor and hooked it up to my car but it also did not blow so then I checked the functionality of my original blower by hooking it to the battery independently and it works fine. I read online that if it was the blower motor resistor that some speeds would still work but none of mine do so does that mean that the blower motor relay is the issue? And if not then what are some of the other possible causes?

Hello kevin.
heres our guide https://www.2carpros.com/articles/car-heater-not-working
check the wiring diagram for trouble shooting(pic 1).
as a first step u replaced the fuse. 40 A for blower which located inside left engine compartment ( pic 2)problem still the same.
-check the blower relay which located inside left engine compartment.
check the guide: https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-an-electrical-relay-and-wiring-control-circuit.
for more specific trouble shooting:
-if the relay condition good check for relay control current by using voltmeter measure between pin 3 and pin 4 12 v must be displayed, check fuse 10 A that feed the relay pin 4 if its in good condition , check the ground between pin 3 and the connection point to the body front of left front wheel well.
-check also if 12 v present at blower relay carrier pin.
-if all the above measurments are good check for continuity between blower relay carrier pin 2 and blower connector red wire pin.if the result is ok problem can be from blower switch,
