The part number I have is 6c24-19e616-aa
we tried the after market and it did not fit it had the 19e616 number on it and it was too big

Well that is the only one shown for an econoline so don't know what to tell you. Are you sure you are trying to install it correctly?Try installing it as picture is shown and make sure blend door shaft is fitting into the actuator.
