The rear of the SUV only blows hot air, A/C does not blow cold air in the back seats. I would like to know the location of the rear blend door actuator on the vehicle listed above and the steps to replace it.

Hi,

The actuator is located on the passenger side behind the rear trim panel. The panel will need to be removed for access.

If you could, let me know if this is a standard wheelbase vehicle or an extended wheelbase so I know which directions to provide for panel removal.

As far as the actuator, pic 1 below shows the location. The remaining pictures are the directions for the removal and replacement of the component.

Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,

joe

It is the extended wheel base. I would greatly appreciate directions for panel removal.

Thank you

Hi Danny, the first two pics below are the directions for removing the panel on an extended-length vehicle. The one concern I have is the SIR needs disabled. I attached those directions after the panel info.

Make sure to follow the directions when working with air bags (SIR).

Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,

joe

Hi Joe,

If you have time, I have another question on another car. Do you know where the Mass Air Flow Sensor is on a 2013 Volvo s60 t5.

Best
Danny

Hi Danny,

I have to ask a favor. We try to keep the posts specific to one topic and vehicle, so they are more helpful to others. Could you copy and paste your new question to a new post? Also, if it has a MAF, it will be in the air induction hose, but I need to confirm if one exists. I'll watch for your new post.

Here is a link to get you started:

I will watch for your question.

Take care,

Joe
