I had a shop tell me my "blend door did not work" then my "actuator needed replaced" then I may "need to check the housing too". And lastly, he told me to "check the fuses". First, what fuses do I check? Then apparently did the trouble shooting already and narrowed it down to this. I bought a new blend door actuator but I need to know if anything else might need to be checked or replaced? I am really lost and mechanically retarded but have put too much money into this truck lately and cant afford anymore so I am going to try to fix it myself. Just need a little help. (P.S. I just bought the truck)

The blend doors commonly break on those a company called Dorman makes a repair kit to fix it without pulling the whole air conditioner box. I would move the temperature control and see if the door is just broken.

Remove the actuator and see if the shaft is broken.
