I have the vehicle listed above Rebel, that is giving me heat on the drivers side and cool air on the passenger side in the A/C mode. I believe it must be the left side blend door actuator, but I can't find any videos or diagrams on how to change or even locate it.

Hi,

The driver's side actuator is located on the front of the HVAC box to the left of the glove box. See pic 1 below.

If you have dual climate control, be happy it is the left one that has failed. LOL The right one requires the removal of the HVAC box.

The remaining pics below are the removal and installation of the driver's side actuator. Take a look through them and let me know if you have questions.

Take care,

Joe

See pics below. Note, the directions indicate single zone/dual zone driver's side. The location for this actuator is the same regardless of the system.

Thanks for the reply. Is there a difference between the Classic and 5th Gen plenum? I do not see the actuator to the left of the glove box. Nor do I see it behind the 12" infotainment console.

Hi,

There shouldn't be a difference. Where on the dash (center, left, right) am I looking at in the picture?

It may be further to the left. Sorry, it's difficult when I'm not there. LOL

Let me know.

Joe

That was taken from the passenger side looking into the space behind the glove box towards the center console. I have scheduled an appointment with a local garage to fix it for me. I think I would be biting off more than I can chew. Thank you for your responses and insight.

Hi,

Thanks for the update. I understand if you feel uncomfortable doing it. Regardless, could you let me know if that takes care of the problem? I'm interested in knowing.
