I saw your awesome video on changing the serpentine belt. I'm planning to do that. I'm a single mom (with some tools I inherited from my dad) and your video made it capable. My dad did all of our maintenance work growing up, and I was the tool fetcher and brake pumper. Question: Is that the only belt that I need to change?

I'm also going to change the spark plugs. Thank you for that video as well! Any recommendations?

I've never changed the belts, the spark plugs, or the brake pads. I'm assuming it is time. It has started to sound a little rough in running. Batteries are still wrong and I've never had a bit of problem out of the car.

Also, what brand name in parts do you recommend?

Thank you so much for making maintenance possible for the rest of us!

Hello,

I have included step by step factory instructions for replacing your vehicle's serpentine belt in the diagrams down below. I have also included the proper spark plug gap for you as well. As far as parts I would recommend getting Original Equipment (Toyota) parts for your vehicle. These can be pricey thought, so if you don't want to get Toyota parts, then for the belt I would recommend Gates or Goodyear/Continental, for the spark plugs I would recommend NGK or Autolite. I have also included a link below for you to go to.

Please go through these guides and get back to us with how things are going or if you need any other help, please feel free to ask.

Thanks,
Alex
