The battery light stay on when driving. The voltage is 13.81 at idle. I noticed sign of rats have been under the hood is it possible a rat have damage a wire? Can you send me a wiring diagram on the generator charging system? I want to see where the battery light wire is connected to so I can check it out.

Check the main fusible link coming right off the battery, and where are you checking the voltage at? Right off the battery or from the alternator?
