Hi,

If there is no spark, it can be the result of several things. Components such as the electronic ignition control unit, crank angle sensor, ignition coil and so on can cause it.

What I suggest first is to see if there are diagnostic trouble codes stored. This vehicle has an OBD1 computer which should help us pinpoint where the problem is starting.

Here is a link that explains how to check for codes. Follow this link and let me know the results.

You may find the attached pic helpful.

Let me know what you find and if anything was replaced with the ignition system.

Take care,

Joe,

You were right, the engine computer was completely gone. I ordered another one for delivery. Thanks for your knowledge. David
