I have the car listed above that won't jump. Every time I try to jump the car it gives sparks out of the negative. I connect the jumpers the correct order. The car has a new battery and a new alternator, bet every time I try to connect the last negative there are sparks.

Are the sparks constant or just when you are putting it on? It is normal for there to be some sparks when you connect it but I have a few questions. First can you get a video of this happening so we can make sure we understand what is happening? Next, if the battery and alternator are new why are your trying to jump start it? Does the vehicle not start?

It's a constant spark accompanied with smoke. The battery is new but has been sitting around for a while. The car doesn't start at all.

Okay, yeah, a video will help but this sounds like it may be a ground strap issue. Just send the video whenever you get it and we can go from there. Thanks
