Battery issues audio system?

I'm running 2 jl audio 8w7ae-3 subs on a jl 1200 amp as well as a pair of focal speakers on a 4 channel jl amp. The alternator has been replaced when playing audio not even half way battery gauge I'd fine right in middle at 14 but when I Push the audio volume battery meter goes way down when I lower volume back to middle of gauge should I be looking for new battery. Any info would help, thanks.

Hi,

Wow, you must be drawing a ton of power. The alternator is what should be keeping the voltage near 14 (engine running).

I'm not an audio expert, but it sounds like you are drawing more than the alternator can support. Here is where I would start. Visit a local parts store such as AutoZone and have them load test the battery and check the alternator under a load. See if things hold up to being tested.
