Cannot remove the key from the ignition?

I went to start my car and the battery was drained, now I can't remove the key from the ignition. Please help.

I would try connecting a jumper battery to give the car voltage, this guide can help:

Also, can you tell me if the transmission feels like it is going completely into park? I would try cycling the gear shifter from park to low gear serval times to see if that makes a difference. Please upload videos in your response of any problems so we can see what to help you with. It sounds like the battery is bad, here is how to change it out. Please go over this guide first and there are instructions for your car in the ages below.
