Ball shaft next to caliber?

No problem, I was just wondering what the ball shaft that looks like a spring cordian behind the tires next to the caliber was called

Hi,

I'm not 100% sure I know what you are referring to. By chance, could you take a picture of the part and upload it for me to see? Based on the description, it sounds like you are looking at the strut assembly (coil spring).

I attached an exploded view of the suspension below. Take a look at it and let me know if you see the item you are referring to. Tell me the number related to it and I'll let you know what it is.
