Bad smell and poor handling

Without having the car here in person it is very hard to tell what kind of smell is emanating from your car. It sounds like maybe a hydraulic hose broke and is leaking causing the poor handling character performance and smell from leakage. Depending on the area you live in most average auto shop labor rates are $100.00 an hour. Specialty shops and auto dealerships like BMW and charge up to $200.00 an hour. Most places will check the problem free of charge. Having the repair done is dependent on how much you can afford. If you agree, or want to go somewhere else.
