My car shut off as I was backing out of the drive. Cranks but won't start. Fuel pump not priming. Fuses and relays are good. No power to the fuel pump fuse when I cycle the key. Also the check engine light does not come on at all when I cycle the key. I jumpered at the EEC test to flash codes and nothing happens. Do I have a bad computer?

Good afternoon,

Yes, it could but you need to verify powers and grounds to the ECM.

If you have a voltmeter, you need to test for voltage. I attached the diagram for you to view.

Roy

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.

2. Position power steering oil reservoir out of the way.

3. Remove Powertrain Control Module (PCM) electrical connector retainer bolt.

4. Remove PCM electrical connector from PCM.

5. Loosen PCM bracket support nut, located on right lower side of dash panel.

6. Remove PCM and bracket.

I started to dig into it and found that all the wires in the harness are dry and cracking a lot of the wire are exposed. Also could you tell me what the yellow relay on the passenger strut tower is the wires were burned together?

Those wires need to be repaired. You need to solder and shrink wrap all those damaged wires.

I will try to find the relay and what it controls.
