Hello guys!

The car is listed above hatch.

Couple months ago, it started taking the car three to eight seconds to crank the car. This happens occasionally (perhaps one out of every five to ten times trying to start the car). It also happens in cold starts and warm starts, summer and winter.

Anyone has an idea what the probable cause is?

Hello,

This could possibly be your engines starter motor dragging a little bit. Your starter motor, through normal wear and tear will eventually start to drag when you go to start your vehicle but the armature will get dirty and the brushes will get worn down. You can take your starter apart and clean it up and reassemble, get a new one, or do nothing until it eventually will get bad enough that it will fail completely. I have included a link below for you to go to.

If you decide to replace it, we can help with instructions on how to do that as well. Let us know what you decide to do, either way.

Thanks,
Alex
