First what I did.
going 35 put it in 1st gear and dumped the clutch. I know, bad, bad, bad. (Heres a good example of why not to drive when angry.) The engine just died. No pop no bang no clank nothing. Just died.
heres what I checked and the results. Looked under car for any leaks or any obvious signs of engine failures ie rod through side of block or pan. Everything looked fine. So I checked the oil, and it looked very good. I tried to restart it, and it turns over but pops inconsistantly. Ie, rrr pop pop, rr pop, rrr pop, r pop pop rrr pop rr pop. It sounds like it wants to catch as it turns over but it never starts. Ok so I let it cool and checked the coolant. And that was also perfect looking. I drained about 1/2 the oil to check for metal shavings and found nothing. I checked the timing belt and it does not appear to have skipped because its not missing any ribs. I pulled the valve cover off and turned the engene over using a wrench on the cam and all the lifters seem to be moving just fine and none of the springs seem to be broken or loose. And it seems to have good compression but I havent checked each cylinders compression yet
so what could I have done? Could I have screwed up the afm by revving it so high? What to check next? Do I pull the head to see if I have anything wrong with the pistons? How would I know if I bent or burnt a valve? Do I have to take the head in to a shop to find out or can I know by just looking at it? Im stumped mostly because the fact that the oil and coolant are fine and so far nothing seems to be wrong am I forgetting to check something? Please help thanks marc

Hello my name is Roy

start with a compression test. It sounds like you have damaged the internals of the motor.

I would re check the timing belt for the correct marks. It does not have to have missing teeth.
