Can I swap out an AWD and put in a 2wd transmission?

Good evening,

Yes, you can but you will have to have the PCM reprogrammed to a front wheel drive. If you do not, then you will end up with a lot of codes in the system.

Why do you want to do this swap? Is there an issue with the rear differential?

Just hard to find AWD transmission. found out that 2wd are less expensive (half the price).

The dealer would have to perform the programming. This is not something you can do.
