Hi,

I have Honda Jazz/Fit 2007.
I noticed an issue it is an automatic car so it should drive smooth but I feel it jerks wen I accelerate car from 60km to 80km/hr.
It jerks like new driver changes wrong gear in a manual car.
As its an automatic car why it jerks after certain speed.
It has a CVT transmission 1.4 engine it has 7 speed mode.
Could you help me to diagnose problem?
Thanks

Hi,

The vehicle shouldn't do that. I agree with you. As far as the concern, first make sure the transmission fluid is clean and full. Here is a link to help:

If it is, then I question if the cooler is plugging. On many of these vehicles, the transmission cooler is integral to the coolant radiator. They have a history of the cooler plugging due to excessive debris in the system and causing lower line pressure.

If you look below, I found a technical service bulletin related to the cooler and how it is properly flushed. Take a look through it and let me know if you are comfortable doing it.

This is where I would recommend starting.

Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe
