The first time you start the car it has a lazy shift into third gear, worse if you drive slow after that it shifts fine tell you shut it off and let it sit overnight. I have noticed when you start it up and it will have a slow shift into third and then it is fine after that cannot figure this out every gear works fine except third the first the time you start the car.

Have a transmission specialist scan for codes and check fluid it dark brown or black transmission may be on it way out or it may be a valve sticking in body.

Have a transmission professional check for a valve sticking in valve body.
