I know some models have a way to do that yourself, but the easier way is to use a scanner. For a vehicle this new, the Chrysler dealer I worked for would do that for you at no charge, as a courtesy. When a customer was taking delivery of their new vehicle, making these adjustments was part of the vehicle setup It included things like the horn chirp when locking the doors, and any other "customer preferences".

If the dealer won't do this for you for free, it could be because all their mechanics are busy with other customer vehicles, and you need to wait or come back later. If they want to charge you, I would consider going to a different dealer for your next purchase and regular service.

Usually you can turn off auto lock on a 2024 Jeep Cherokee using the digital cluster and infotainment system settings. With the ignition on and the vehicle in Park, navigate to Vehicle Settings on the steering wheel's selector wheel, find Door Setup, select Auto Door Lock, and choose Off. You can also customize auto door unlock options in the same menu. If this is not available in the Unconnect screen, then when you're next in for service see if the tech can shut this feature off with their scan tool otherwise.
