Transmission not shifting properly

When transmission is attempting to shift from second to third gear engine revs and transmission slips, if I let of gas pedal will shift most time but when I try to accelerate transmission slips a little if I accelerate too fast. This occurs if I accelerate too fast most times and sometimes when I accelerate it operates correctly.

This is pretty typical of a worn clutch or cut seal inside the transmission. We need to start with checking the quality and level of the transmission fluid. We need to change the fluid if it is dark in color or low. Here is a guide that helps with that:

If the fluid is okay, then we need to most likely have an issue inside the unit.

Let's start with the quality of the fluid and go from there.
