2001 Audi S4 Question Transmission Slipping

When I floor the gas pedal, the transmissions seems to slip. The engine will rev up and then it will catch the gear and accelerate. It keeps doing this also, it doesnt stay in gear but keeps slipping as acceleration takes place. I have already flushed the transmission, what seems to be the problem?

Stop driving! You are potentially ruining your clutch!

That said check the pressure in your master and slave cylinders and check the cable tension as it may be too tight and causing the clutch disk to not make full contact.

There is a possibility that your clutch could just be toast and you are lucky to get it to move at all, be careful as these repairs are costly.
