Intermittently, ABS BRAKE warning light comes on, flashes for a few seconds to a few minutes, then goes off. The braking ability of the car does not seem to be affected but I am worried about the warning.

Yes, this is a very icy snowy winter, up my way. I will go to an auto place and see if there is a diagnostic notice about the abs system.

Thanks

My Audi does the same thing. I live in Canada, and everytime there is black ice, snow or it is slippery, when breaking the ABS senser light flashes when it comes in action.

It is supposed to be normal. Then they disappear when you stop sliding.

I have an A4 2003 Quattro 1.8T
