Transmission problem
1994 Audi Quattro All Wheel Drive Automatic 136000 miles

I am thinking of purchasing 1994 Audi wagon without any oil leaks but needs transmission work per the ad. Worst case scenario cost to replace would be? They are selling it for $1500. It is currently registered. Is it worth it?

Hi there,

You could easily be looking at a 2K+ repair on the transmission, i never advise my customers to buy a used car with serious defects, there are plenty of good used cars out there, i would keep looking.
