HI MY 1993 AUDI 100S 2.8L AUTO NON-QUATTRO.I AM HAVING A PROBLEM THE CAR OVERHEATS AND DOES NOT HAVE A LOT OF HEAT INSIDE THE CAR WHEN I TURN THE HEAT ON. THE FANS DONT TURN ON (MAYBE A BAD FAN SWITCH) AND THE UPPER RADIATOR HOSE IS VERY HOT THAN THE LOWER HOSE. SO CAN YOU TELL ME STEP BY STEP WHAT TO DO SO I CAN FIX IT. THANK YOU.

Sounds to me like you have a bad thermostat or a bad water pump, well go with the cheaper and easy one to do first to see if the problems go away.

For a bad thermostat you remove the uper radiator hose and the housing ( thing the hose hooks to ) then from there you pull out the thermostat and put in the new one the same exact way. Installation is reverse.
