2000 Audi A6 Engine Light

My audi engine light is on.
it goes off and on on some occasssion.
i didn't go to any mechanic yet
just tell me it is a major or minor problem,
When I read the car's manual about that light, it said one of the car light is not working.
and its true one of my front fog light is not working.
i dont its really about that fog light or anyother problem.

Go get a scan done to identify what the set code is, if it is the engine light it wont be a faulty fog light, replace the globe in the fog light at the same time.
