Engine Mechanical problem
1997 Audi A6 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic 80+ miles

My timing belt slipped and took out some rubber teeth on the belt, but it did not break. What's the likely hood the engine isn't damaged? I was driving at about 25mph when the car just died.

Thanks

that really depends on how many teeth it jumped. if it jumped 3 or more teeth than most likely there will be bent valves. no way of telling without diassemble of the motor and inspecting it.
