Hi
I own audi a4 1.8tT 1999 with 72K and when I turn steering wheel to the right it makes squeking noise, it seems to be comming from inside the steering wheel. I alredy took it to my mechanic and he worked on it whole day and fixed the problem, he said it was joints making noise. A week after the squeks returned and it's really annoying. I have got a lot of answers to what it can be, it seems to me that everybody has different opinion some said it can be bearings, power steering belt, ring, cv boots, cv joints. HELP PLEASE!

I had a problem with my hyundai that sounds the same. I has a brake job done at a service center(Goodyear shop) and about 2 or 3000 miles later I started getting a skeaking noise but only when turning right. I didn't think it could be the brakes becasue they had recently been replaced. It ended up being cheap brake pads that the service center used. I had to take it to a dealership and let them troubleshoot it. Its a place to start. Let me know how it turns out.
