On cold starts there is a noise coming from the back of the engine?

Hello!
Cold start noise on my vehicle listed above, 2.0-liter TDI, it goes around 4-5 minutes then it disappears. It comes from the back of the engine where the vacuum pump is located. Any solution for this please.

Yes, it could be the vacuum pump. They have a history of going out on this car. Here are the instructions for changing it out. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
