1999 Audi A4 Rear rattle

There is a rattle that comes from the rear when I accelorate, but once I'm up to speed it goes away. I've had viscus mentioned and rear diiferential, I hear that there might be a fluid that I can add to the rear end that might help if it is just worn. Please help in anyway possible with imput. I would be checking the simple things first, loose or broken exhaust mounts, worn suspension bushes, have a mechanic check over the rear end for any like problem, start here.
