Hi hows it going.
I recently bought an Audi A4 1.8T Quattro and it drove fine till this problem came.
The car now idls at 500. Before it used to be 800-900 and when I do decide to drive it. First of all I have to floor the gas in order for me to leave first gear and while I am driving all the sudden the car stops. Like there is no gas or air going in the engine. If I change gears or press/depress the clutch it drives fine for another 2 seconds then it chokes again and s on.

I checked my gas line. Gas is comin out so its no fuel pimp. I checked timing belt. It is moving so it isnt timing belt. Maybe its MAF? Or maybe it is ignition coil?

Thanks for all ur help.

Actually turns out it was the throttle body

all of it needed to be replaced. And I had to do it at audi too since I might as well because that specific throttle body has to be programmed into the vehicles computer

bought throttle body for about 100$ CND (yeah :D)

and installation at audi cost about 150$ with engine light scanning

so I got off easy I guess.

Thanks for the reply
