to test the lamdber sensor can I disconect it while running the turn the car off the start the car with it disconected then plug it in while running will this tell me if it is working if anyone could help, thanks

Do you have a check engine light On if not why bother checking it or just use a scantool to view the oxygen sensor live data. If you are over 50K miles I recommend you replace it-

Hi my audi a3 1.8 t has loss of power and I have tried and replaced most things then someone said it could be the lamdber sensor ive spent loads already on things that didnt need changing just wondered if you could check the sensor before replacing it thanks
