Flywheel locking pin location

I want to change belt but do not know the location of the flywheel pin on my car listed above hatchback.

Not sure there is a crank lock pin on those. You can just mark the gear against the block with white paint at TDC, but there will be a cam lock set you will need, the specific tool from memory is fairly expensive. You can make on or use a generic twin cam locking kit, that is if it is the same engine we have in Australia in the Holden Astra.

The Franck has a sloping clutch so you can't use the rope trick or try locking it in gear. Every explanation on the internet advised me to use the locking pin but there is no diagram

I will see if I have a hard copy work shop manual, trouble is it may not be the same engine used here in Aus, I will see what I can come up with.

If you just want to undo the front crank bolt, you can remove the starter and lock the ring gear with a suitable lever on the teeth of the drive plate.
