The van runs great but when it gets to the normal operating temperature if I shut it off it will not start back up until the engine cools down, and if I don't shut it off then it will go all day without any problems. Someone told me maybe the cam shaft sensor. The not starting when hot is the only issue it runs good, not misfire, doesn't lose any power and engine runs smoothly. Anyone have any ideas of what could be the problem? My code reader also showed evap valve issue.

Welcome to 2CarPros.

I have to be honest, it sounds more like a crankshaft position sensor. First, take a look through these links and see if the symptoms mirror what you experience under the symptoms link.

What you would need to do is check to see if ignition spark is lost when it doesn't start or have a live data scanner and check to see if the RPM signal is lost. Both would indicate a crankshaft position sensor issue.

Do this and let me know what you find or if you have other questions.

Take care,
Joe
