We have a 1999 Nissan Sentra. I need to know if there is a way to disarm the anti theft? We have tried taking out the battery and putting it back in to reset the anti theft, but that did not work. We tried locking all of the doors and unlocking it back with the keys, that also did not work. Every time we put the key into the ignition all the lights will come on on the dash and then we try to crank it and it just goes out and does not crank. We are really frustrated on what to do.

So if all the light go out when you crank it over it sounds like the car battery is dead or you have a bad connection, check out this information and get back to us.

So you may have two problems, here is how to disarm the security system.

Disarmed phase

The theft warning system is in the disarmed phase when any door(s), hood or trunk lid is open and the ignition key is not in the ACC or ON position. The security indicator lamp blinks every 0.5 seconds. When the ignition key is turned to the ACC or ON position, the security indicator lamp turns off.

Let us know if you need anything else.
