Antifreeze is leaking from the “T” area I think that’s what it’s called. We replaced the heater hoses and thermostat and it was fine and then it started leaking when we drove more than 10 miles.

Hello,

Is there any way we could get you to take a few pictures? Not all close up, a couple kind of showing where on the engine shot (back away a little) of the leak and upload them for us. It makes our job a lot easier.

Thanks,
Alex

Also, the reservoir tank is not giving anything to the radiator. Could that also be clogged?

Hello again,

So by the "T" piece are you talking about the thermostat neck, where the thermostat goes? In the diagrams down below I have included an exploded diagram of your vehicle's cooling system. Each component has a number by it. If you could get back to me with the number I can shoot you the information of the component.

Thanks,
Alex

Hello again,

Double check the thermostat gasket and make sure that it is not pinched or got cut somehow. Make sure that it is seated properly and that that bolts holding the neck down are tightened down properly. Get back to us with what you are able to find out please.

Thanks,
Alex

It leaked the whole system out of that area and it’s not taking any from the reservoir.

Hello again,

Can you see where it is leaking from? I'm having a hard time pinpointing where it is leaking from from your pictures. If you can not find where it is leaking from then please go to this link below.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/radiator-pressure-test

The system is not taking anything from the reseviour because the system uses vacuum and pressure to accomplish this. If the is a leak in the hose somewhere the vacuum in the system will be compromised. Please go through this guide and then get back to us with what you find out.

Thanks,
Alex

I can’t get a diagnostic done yet. But it’s smoking and spraying antifreeze and won’t keep it in.

Hello again,

Okay, let's try this. Can you fill up your cooling system with water and have an assistant start your vehicle? With you watching the engine and see where the coolant/water is leaking from.

Thanks,
Alex
