You won't need reverse lights if you can't get it running so tackle one problem at a time. How do you know you have a security problem?
Do you have a security indicator on or flashing?
Have you tried a different key?

You have pretty much reached the limit of what you can do yourself. From this point you are going to need a factory level scan tool for diagnosis and likely will have to do some programming when the problem is repaired.
