Will not start, code P1626

Scan tool identifies anti theft fuel enable circuit code P1626. Truck sat with a dead battery 6 months or so. Will crank and run for only a few seconds. I've tried doing the ten minutes on/10 seconds off. Disconnected negative cable from the battery. Pulled security fuse. Locked/unlocked driver's door with key. Security light will not go off and still won't start.

Hello, I'm Danny.

Here is a tutorial showing how to reset the anti-theft/security system.We'll try this first.After reading scroll the page to find GMC specifics.

If this doesn't work I've also attached step-by-step testing pictures related to the P1626 code.I will required a GM Tech 2 scan tool. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
