Anti-freeze is backing up into the reservoir and overflowing

I recently changed the radiator and heater core due to leakage. Whenever I drive, even short distances, the anti-freeze backs up into the reservoir and sometimes overflows. I have to regularly siphon the reservoir and pour the anti-freeze back into the radiator.
