When a reply is posted, you'll get an automated e-mail message with a link directing you back to the same page. There, you can read and post all the follow-up replies. At that point you'll be in a private conversation with the expert who is trying to help, and there may be one or two other experts chiming in to add some information.

To get the best response, be sure to list the engine size, transmission type, and mileage. We use that information to tailor our replies and to make generalizations as to the best suspects. Also include as much detail, symptoms, and observations as possible, just like you ask of your customers.
