I had the alternator go bad on my car and I need some help with how to replace it myself. Planning on doing it tomorrow. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,
Eric

V6 is going to be pretty tight in there. You will need to remove the condenser fan the right side wheel and splash shield will need to come off. The drive belt will need to come off NOTE: This is a hydraulic type auto-tensioner, so you must turn the wrench slowly for at least three seconds.

Disconnect the alternator connector (A) and the positive alternator cable (B) from the alternator.
Remove the harness clamp (C) from the alternator and disconnect the A/C compressor clutch connector (D) from the A/C compressor.
Remove the bolt (E) securing the harness holder.

Remove the mounting bolt (A) and the alternator bracket mounting bolt (B), then remove the alternator.

Reverse order to install. Good luck.
